Your details, plainly.

This explains what insidenya.com asks for and why.

What the waitlist asks for

  • Your email address, so we can tell you about NYA's launch and early access.
  • Optionally, the city you'd like NYA to open in, and what you're most excited about. These help us decide where to start and what to build first.

When you join, we also note your share link's code and, if a friend's link brought you here, theirs, so we know whose invitations worked.

We use these only for NYA's launch and the waitlist. The list is stored with Supabase, our database provider. To stop automated sign-ups, we also briefly count requests by a scrambled form of your IP address, which isn't kept with your details or used for anything else.

Visit counts

To see how many people visit and which pages they read, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider. It records the page you visit, the site that referred you, and your country, browser, operating system and device type. It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across other sites, and it runs from insidenya.com itself.

What this site doesn't do

The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. If you arrive through a friend's link, their code is kept in your browser for that visit only. Its fonts are served from insidenya.com itself, so loading a page doesn't contact any font service.

Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address and browser type.

Leaving the list

To be removed from the waitlist, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@insidenya.com.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page will be updated first.
